To help protect the privacy of your data and your customers’ data, on April 1, 2026, we are making an important change to our Documents functionality.
Documents attached to leads and contacts will soon automatically expire after two years. Once expired, the document will no longer be visible or accessible in the CRM.
What this means:
All new documents will be archived automatically two years after upload.
Documents uploaded within the last two years will be archived automatically two years after their upload date.
Documents uploaded more than two years ago have already been archived.
The upload date has always been visible in the Documents tab of a Lead and/or Contact details page. An expiration date is now displayed alongside it.
If any documents require longer-term storage, please ensure they are saved outside the CRM prior to April 1, 2026.
