Microsoft Email Sync Setup (Microsoft API)

Updated this week

CRM 360 now supports Microsoft email synchronization using the official Microsoft API.

This connection method is more reliable and better aligned with Microsoft 365 than the previous IMAP method.

Once configured, emails sent or received from CRM or your inbox will automatically synchronize with the appropriate contact and lead in CRM 360.

Note that synchronization to a given lead still requires the first email to be sent from the Lead Details page in CRM 360.

NOTE: You must use the email address indicated on the page in order to use the email synchronization. If you require a different email address, please contact your SM360 account manager.

1. Verify Microsoft 365 Administration

IMPORTANT

Before connecting email accounts, your Microsoft 365 administrator may need to approve the CRM 360 integration.

This is a one-time configuration for your Microsoft tenant.

Your administrator can follow the instructions here:

Instructions

The administrator must grant permissions to the 360 Agency application so CRM 360 can access mailbox data through Microsoft Graph.

Once this step is completed, users can connect their mailbox in CRM 360.
